Updates on what’s happening at Dean Court!

Wednesday 7th May sees the first monthly meeting of Dean Court’s new craft group: Court Crafting.

Bring your own project to work on, share skills and inspiration with people who share your passion, and make new friends. We are meeting on the first Wednesday of the month from 7-9pm in the Orange room, which should still be nice and bright for the first hour at least. £3 pay-as-you-go or £25 for the year.

Court Crafting is a sister group to Which Craft which meets at the Louie Memorial Hall, Arnold’s Way, on the third Monday of the month. That has proved so successful, we feel sure there is sufficient appetite to run our group too.

Since going to Which Craft, I’ve learned to crochet with the help of You Tube; others have tried patchwork, dusted off their card making equipment, or worked together on some beautiful warm blankets for charity. So if you’re lacking motivation to sew alone, wanting to pick up an old hobby, or get into a new one, try us out. You’ll be assured a warm welcome and a cuppa.
