If you look at the left of the picture you will see a pile of insulation with a notice propped on top.  I’ll give you a closer look:

Nick was going to give me a demonstration, but didn’t have the right gear with him.  I suggested that hi-vis jacket and hard hat would be fine to go on with, but he insists he has standards to maintain.

“Maybe doff the hard hat and drape the h-vis jacket over your shoulder?” I suggest.  “Back view only?”

But clearly, I am getting mixed up with the Chippendales.  And anyway, says Nick, it would be unfair to professionals to appear to be denigrating their art.  He’s only half joking.  I’ve never actually seen professional pole dancing, but apparently it’s really good.  As Nick suggested, I’m just going to have a look at You-Tube . . .
