It seemed a great shame that Graham left the team for temporary digging duty elsewhere, but luckily, Nick is a G-man too, as in Gonzalez.  This kind of symmetry is kind of comforting to we obsessives.  Mind you, I don’t know what you’ll think of the new steps to the Community Centre that G-man Nick has built:

I suspect they will be a grave disappointment to ace architect Dan Jones who first saw the potential of the derelict building (did you know  that Dan’s project at Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire won the Environmental Excellence Award in the Architect of the Year wards 2012?)

I have to say they’re not bad – probably straighter than I could have got them – but I wonder if the breeze block solution was just because, after last night’s heavy rain, the concrete mixer is not looking too useful?

Once again, I can’t help thinking of Ozymandias way back on Day 27 . . .
