. . . and, having got the fascia boards sorted,  he is pushing up the bottom row of roof tiles (I think that’s what he is doing, but Graham is pretty sure I’ll get it wrong)  in readiness for fixing the (black) guttering:

Graham will be off the site next week, taking his driving and housekeeping skills to another site, but I hope he’ll be back.  Meanwhile, I will be honing my CV to perfection, applying for his job at the community centre.  Of course, I may have to use an assumed name, or Gordon could be off in another flurry of talcum powder . . .
