The trench for the western extension footings seems to have been satisfactorily achieved and attention has turned to the eastern wing.

This will be a slightly larger version of the old Social Club lounge: extended by 1m towards the eastern boundary and opening out to a sunny little courtyard just opposite the playground, it will make an ideal children’s room.  The brick wall at the back of the picture will be lowered and a gate inserted so this will be a perfect place for children’s parties.
