. . . and Ross and Chris and Darren. Together they made short work of the buddleia and a huge pile of branches over the fence. The new western extension will go right out to the boundary, so we had to clear one metre of the adjoining gardens to allow for the foundations.
Peter and Maggie having loaded up the firewood and Darren and I having organised probably the best and most efficient bonfire ever, the day ended very satisfactorily.
On Tuesday, (it’s Bank Holiday weekend) the contractors move on to the site in force and the big work begins. They have a very tidy site to live up to. Watch this space!
