Thanks, Annie – there’s something extraordinarily satisfying about seeing how a building starts to take shape from endless meetings, to Dan’s vision, to the paper plan, more meetings and then to the real thing. I had to look at the plan at the crack of dawn this morning to work out why Gordon had started to cut the concrete from the manhole in such a weird direction. But it did make sense. Of course.
