Day 121: Our secret weapon . . .

. . . is lurking just past the doors to the loos and through the door to the youth room at the end of the corridor:

And his name is Jim, pictured here with Ian and Sam of Cluttons:

While all the digging, hammering, sawing and plastering has been going on, Jim has been beavering away preparing for the big switch on.  Or the modest switch on, because we are intending that our building will have as low a carbon footprint as possible and hence our commitment to working towards Eco-centre status.

This is where Jim comes in.  I’ve had to keep very quiet about him up until now, but you’ll be seeing more of him in due course.

  1. The building is looking great! And eco-status would be absolutely terriff. Keep up the wonderful work! (Priscilla and the worksite crew.)

    1. It’s going to be a building we can be really proud of, which makes keeping up my job a doddle. It’s Gordon and team who are doing the real work and we do appreciate them. Even when they don’t agree with me. . .
